Sachs Media Group Surges to Record Year in 2016

Powered by a record 20 percent single-year growth, Sachs Media Group recorded its best year ever in 2016, as the nationally rated and regarded firm’s work expanded in multiple areas including public affairs, research, crisis communication services, and digital/web development.

Public affairs emerged as Sachs Media Group’s most in-demand specialty, accounting for one-third of all billings, followed closely by public relations. Corporate accounts constitute the majority of the firm’s client roster, followed by nonprofits and select public sector work. The firm is considered one of Florida’s and the nation’s top independent integrated marketing and communications firms.

“We’re deeply grateful for the growth and success we have experienced during our 21 years – and it’s all linked to an incomparable team working tirelessly to exceed the goals and objectives we set for every client and every project,” said Ron Sachs, the firm’s founder and CEO. “We’re well-prepared now for continued growth in Florida and beyond.”

The firm expects to open a new office in Tampa later this year.

Promotions Announced for Five Staff Members

To position the firm for further growth, Sachs Media Group announced promotions of five staff members in the areas of public relations, digital/social media, and web development.

The promotions include: Ashley Perkins to Director of Digital Content; Rob Orr to Director of Web Design and Development; Zoe Linafelt and Jenna Sarkissian to Account Managers; and Shelby Hobbs to Senior Account Executive.

“Individually, each of these valued team members is exceptional – and collectively, they make an extraordinary team,” said Michelle Ubben, Partner and Chief Operating Officer. “We are truly blessed to work with this talented pool of professionals who help us produce exceptional results for our clients.”

The promotions reflect Sachs Media Group’s growing strength in digital content creation and website design, and its continued core dominance in public affairs, public relations, crisis management, and integrated communications.
