In 2024, a federal rule change threatened Pell Grant eligibility for students in certain career training programs, putting access to education at risk for thousands of Floridians. The Florida Association of Cosmetology and Technical Schools partnered with Sachs Media to lead a statewide awareness and advocacy campaign.
Sachs Media launched the Beauty of Education Florida campaign, using research-driven messaging, video storytelling, and targeted outreach to engage policymakers and highlight the value of vocational education. The effort included a campaign website, student-focused video content, and placement of 11 op-eds across major media outlets.
The campaign reached more than 4.7 million people, generated 321,000+ social media impressions, and directly engaged 113 Florida lawmakers, helping to elevate the issue and protect access to critical career training pathways.
