Sachs Media Crowned Agency of the Year, Wins PR Campaign of the Year at FPRA Golden Image Awards

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Sachs Media took center stage at the 2024 Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Golden Image Awards, claiming the coveted title of Agency of the Year and the prestigious Dick Pope All-Florida Grand Golden Image Award for its “Saving Social Media” campaign — the fourth time in the past 15 years the firm has captured this top honor.

The firm’s campaign, “Saving Social Media: Fighting for the First Amendment in the Digital Era,” conducted on behalf of the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA), was instrumental in achieving a landmark Supreme Court ruling in favor of free speech online. In addition to winning the top all-around award, this campaign also received the Golden Image Award for Public Affairs Campaign of the Year and the Judges’ Creativity Award, showcasing Sachs Media’s exceptional ability to drive national public affairs outcomes through strategic communication.

“Winning the Agency of the Year title and the Dick Pope Award once more is a shout-out to the hard work, creativity, and passion of our amazing team,” said Michelle Ubben, President and CEO of Sachs Media. “We declared 2024 our ‘Year of Excellence,’ and these accolades prove we meant business. I’m so proud of our team and excited for what we will achieve next.”

But the magic didn’t stop there as Sachs Media also swept up top honors in other categories at the FPRA Golden Image Awards, including:

  • Award of Distinction (Integrated Marketing) for its work promoting Fort Mose.
  • Award of Distinction (Public Service) for its educational campaign with the Elder Law Section of The Florida Bar.

Drew Piers, Partner and Managing Director of Sachs Media, added, “We’re over the moon with pride for our rock star team, embracing our ethic of fearless, impactful work where every client shines. These accolades inspire us to continue setting new standards in strategic communications.”

The accolades add to a growing list of recent honors for the firm, including recognition in 2024 as a Top 100 Agency Elite by PR News and top Best Workplace designation by Inc., Ragan Communications, and Florida Trend. O’Dwyer’s PR News also ranked Sachs Media as a Top 5 national PR firm for nonprofits (#4) and #1 in Florida.
