WeatheRISE ATL: Delivering Energy-Efficient Home Upgrades in Metro Atlanta

With Atlanta residents having one of the highest energy burdens in the nation, Sachs Media developed a strategic communications campaign to serve as an asset to WeatheRISE ATL — an innovative campaign to deliver free energy efficient retrofits and residential upgrades to homes in the metro Atlanta area. Through partnerships with the nonprofit Sustainable Georgia Futures, the City of Atlanta, and the National Association of Minority Contractors, our team helped launch a strategic communications campaign to equip campaign canvassers with deliverables needed to convey the project’s mission and amplify it in the Atlanta area.

Sachs Media designed compelling collateral materials to educate homeowners about the campaign, and created a landing page to serve as the hub for canvassers to access resources and materials needed for canvassing. We secured numerous interviews with prominent Atlanta area news outlets, and placed opinion pieces in publications targeting the audience the campaign sought to reach. Our team’s outreach successfully engaged over 5,000 residents and will facilitate the installation of free energy-efficient retrofits in more than 150 energy-burdened homes across Atlanta, laying the groundwork for ongoing initiatives throughout the state.
