SMG Chosen to Build New Campaigns

Sachs Media Group has been chosen to launch statewide brand-building campaigns for three Florida trade associations, Florida’s leading virtual education provider and one of the state’s top engineering firms. In February, the firm was named the top public affairs PR firm in Florida and 12th in the country by O’Dwyer’s, the respected national industry journal.

“We highly value the privilege of being the choice to collaborate with these outstanding key organizations to actively assist them in effectively telling their own important stories,” said Ron Sachs, president and CEO of Sachs Media Group.  “We are planning exciting, high-visibility campaigns to drive further awareness of their strong brands.”

Sachs Media Group is working with Florida Health Care Association (FHCA), Florida’s first and largest advocacy organization for long-term care providers, to create an informational campaign to help Floridians who are caring for aging family members, drawing on the association’s network of experts on aging issues.  The campaign will launch as the association celebrates its 60th year and will highlight how much has changed in connection to Florida’s aging population in that time.

With a 125-year track record, the Florida Bankers Association (FBA) is one of Florida’s most respected and well-established trade organizations.  Sachs Media Group’s campaign for FBA will highlight the important role bankers play in helping people realize their dreams, whether that be going to college, buying a home or starting a business.

Sachs Media Group also has been selected to help Florida Virtual School (FLVS) achieve its strategic communications objectives.  As Florida’s leading provider of online education, Florida Virtual School helps more than 460,000 students a year gain greater access to the classes they want and need, helps keep education costs down and allows students to fulfill the requirements of The 2013 Digital Learning Act, which requires all students in Florida to complete an online course to qualify for high school graduation.

The firm also has been engaged to recreate a highly successful online contest to encourage the public to vote for their favorite buildings in Florida.  In 2012, as part of the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects’ 100th anniversary celebration, Sachs Media Group created and promoted an online contest to honor Florida’s most iconic and beautiful buildings, which resulted in nearly 3 million votes.  Unprecedented media coverage, including above the fold in the Miami Herald, exceeded all expectations. Due to the tremendous success of that effort, the firm has been selected to help AIA Florida make the contest an annual event, focusing on different types of buildings each year.

In another anniversary commemoration, Sachs Media Group will work with Jones Edmunds, one of Florida’s leading consulting firms providing quality, professional services in engineering and environmental sciences, to recognize its contributions over its 40-year history.  In addition to planning a themed anniversary event for its 150 employees, Sachs Media Group will produce a video to document the firm’s environmental and engineering contributions.

“We love to apply our creative thinking to our clients’ strategic objectives,” said Michelle Ubben, partner and COO of Sachs Media Group.  “Each one of these campaigns will bring together all the skills and resources of our firm to have a big impact for clients that matter greatly to us.”
