Jessica Clark Earns PMP® Credential

Distinction Makes Jessica Clark among Elite Project Management Professionals

Sachs Media Group today announced that its project manager of campaigns and branding, Jessica Clark, has earned her international Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential. The PMP® distinction, held by a rare few in Tallahassee, enhances Clark’s and the firm’s expertise in managing complex, large-scale projects, including government contracts.

“As a firm we continue to look for ways to better serve our clients through effective campaigns, and feel strongly that having a PMP on staff is essential to that mission,” said Ron Sachs, President and CEO of Sachs Media Group. “Jessica’s hard work, dedication and strategic thinking have always made her a great asset to the firm. We are proud to congratulate her on her new credential.”

The PMP is the most important industry-recognized project management credential.  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, at least three years of project management experience, 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education in order to be eligible for certification. She earned the credential by achieving a qualifying score on a comprehensive scenario-based examination that addressed topics such as budgetary planning, and contract and resource management. There are approximately 585,000 active PMP-certified individuals worldwide.

“The PMP® credential demonstrates that Jessica has the experience and education to lead major projects and project teams, and achieve successful project results,” said Michelle Ubben, Partner and Chief Operating Officer.  “We value her hard work, positive energy and strategic approach to every project.”

Since joining the firm in 2010, Clark has participated in some of the firm’s largest statewide branding, strategic planning and issues campaigns. A summa cum laude graduate from Florida State University with a B.S. in public relations, Jessica is a 17-time Florida Public Relations Association Award recipient and winner of the 2013 Dick Pope All-Florida Grand Golden Image Award and 2012 Bulldog Reporter Media Relations Silver Award for Best Education/Public Service Campaign.

As part of the PMP® credential, Jessica will engage in continuing education classes and other advancement opportunities including membership with the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. Her PMP® expertise will continue to support Sachs Media Group’s growing government, corporate and nonprofit public relations campaigns and creative/digital projects.
