Carnival Corporation is going Hollywood… and Sachs Media Group is all aboard.
On September 19, Sachs Media Group — in collaboration with several amazing partners — had the honor of rolling out the public relations and social media efforts for Carnival Corporation’s newest initiative: travel TV programming.
The world’s largest travel-leisure company has created and produced three original travel-related series. The three series will debut the morning of October 1 on ABC, NBC and The CW.
Innovative Marketing Approach
A first in the cruise industry, this innovative marketing approach highlights the experience of ocean travel. It builds on the company’s strategy to use creative methods to stimulate interest and demand in cruise vacations.
The three new shows, “Vacation Creation,” “Ocean Treks with Jeff Corwin,” and “The Voyager,” are all about connecting people, places and cultures. They each take us to some of the most exotic destinations around the world by ship – from Thailand and New Zealand to Athens and Dubrovnik to Ketchikan and the Yucatan, and points in between.
Follow the voyages of families who have been chosen to experience a cruise vacation of a lifetime! Acclaimed hosts Tommy Davidson and Andrea Feczko meet and greet the lucky guests, learn their personal stories and act as their tour guides.
Vacation Creation airs Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Eastern on The CW
Emmy Award-winning host Jeff Corwin embarks on an epic journey, sailing aboard some of the world’s most beautiful ships, as he explores the most exciting port cities on the planet.
Arriving each week by ship in a new city, he embarks on adventures in some of the world’s most exciting destinations. These include repelling down cliffs, flight-seeing to glacier landings, mountain climbing in a national park and zip lining through a rainforest.
Ocean Treks airs Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. Eastern on ABC
Like the hosts of “Chef’s Table” and “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown,” Josh Garcia, the host of the new travel culture series “The Voyager,” goes off the beaten path in fascinating seaside ports.
He meets locals who share their rich histories, life stories and exotic foods, and introduces viewers to the hidden beauty, cultural diversity and amazing flavors native to each destination.
