Sachs Media Broadens Base of Expertise With New Hires Jenkins, Rakestraw, and Henry

Leading Florida strategic communications agency Sachs Media today announced the addition of three new team members: Sarah Jenkins, Andrew Rakestraw, and Carrie Henry. The trio will boost the firm’s public relations and public affairs work and enhance its business operations.

Sarah Jenkins, a 2022 graduate of Florida State University, will serve as an account coordinator on Sachs Media’s public affairs team. Jenkins earned a bachelor’s degree from FSU, graduating cum laude with a double major in political science and public relations. With previous experience ranging from interning at Sachs Media and the Florida House of Representatives to serving as the Panhellenic President of FSU, Jenkins is adept at cultivating meaningful relationships and delivering breakthrough results for clients.

Andrew Rakestraw will serve as an account coordinator. Rakestraw earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, graduating summa cum laude with a double major in public relations and political science. While interning at Sachs Media and another local public relations firm, he gained experience with social media communication on a variety of platforms and was able to assist with research efforts to inform client campaign strategies.

Carrie “CJ” Henry, the firm’s new office manager, is tasked with ensuring that business runs smoothly at Sachs Media. With more than five years working for the State of Florida, where she gained HR and office coordination skills, she arrived ready to tackle anything that comes her way. In her most recent position, Henry served as a project manager for the Florida Department of Revenue, where she oversaw up to 20 projects for the Child Support Program while collaborating with various other business partners and executive teams.
