Kent Koptiuch, Florida Natural Resource Manager for Nestlé Waters North America, today issued the following statement in response to the final order issued by Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Herschel Vinyard regarding the proposed Angelo’s Landfill site in northeastern Pasco County:

“Today’s decision is a significant victory for Florida’s precious natural resources. The number one priority must be protecting Florida’s unique water resources. We applaud DEP Secretary Vinyard’s decision to stop the landfill from being placed in an environmentally sensitive area and to protect the state’s aquifers and natural springs.”
