Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions
Florida’s Healthy Start coalitions recognized the need to educate policymakers on their impact in order to maintain sufficient budget and service levels for the year ahead. Working the Florida Association of Healthy Start Coalitions, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of data and messaging across the 32 local coalitions, identifying high-impact messaging and producing rich digital imagery and video.
Utilizing social media, we then placed that content in front of Florida policymakers, as well as influencers, employees, and supporters. As a result, Florida Healthy Start Coalition messaging reached more than 19,000 influential stakeholders, including more than 100 state policymakers. As a result, Healthy Start was able to maintain its funding levels, and the coalitions continued to provide valuable prenatal and family health services across Florida.
