Accomplished Capital Communicator Jessica Cary Joins Sachs Media as Account Manager

Leading Florida strategic communications agency Sachs Media today announced the addition of veteran communicator Jessica Cary, APR, to its dynamic and growing team. Cary will serve Sachs Media as an Account Manager, overseeing client work in sectors that include health care, higher education and government.

Cary comes to the firm with more than 30 years of public relations experience in state government and private industry, specializing in strategic messaging, crisis communications, media relations, and workforce development. Before joining Sachs Media, she served in significantly responsible leadership roles within organizations critical to Florida’s economic, law enforcement, education, and health care sectors. She most recently worked as the public information officer at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Prior to serving the public at FDLE, Cary elevated donor relations and fundraising at Second Harvest of the Big Bend, served as communications director at the Florida Department of Corrections, and implemented membership, partner, and media relations for the Florida Association of Community Health Centers. She has also held pivotal communications roles in three executive branch agencies, as well as Enterprise Florida and the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Cary earned her bachelor’s degree in English/Creative Writing from Florida State University.
