Jones Edmunds Honored by City of Gainesville

Gainesville Mayor Ed Braddy proclaimed June 19, 2014, as “Jones Edmunds Day” to honor the local engineering consulting firm’s 40th Anniversary. That evening, in a ceremony at the meeting of Gainesville’s City Commission, Mayor Braddy presented Bob Edmunds, PE, CGC, Director and Founder of Jones Edmunds, and Rick Ferreira, PE, Chief Executive Officer of Jones Edmunds with a City of Gainesville proclamation noting that the founders, Bob Edmunds, PE, CGC, and Richard Jones, PhD, PE – both University of Florida graduates – had selected Gainesville to launch their business in 1974. Today, the firm remains headquartered in Gainesville and employs more than 70 people in Gainesville, and over 140 employees state-wide.
